Good new for gardeners.  You may be able to jump from the planning stage to the planting stage. Last month, the U.S. Department of Agriculture released a new climate zone chart for 2012.  The chart, which is a hardiness guide for planting, has been updated for the first time since 1990 and shows a warming trend northward.
