It's Fall, and apples are in season.  Time to make applesauce.  When making applesauce, use the sweetest apples available to you, and you won't have to add any sugar.  The sweetest are:  Red Delicious, Gala, Fuji, Winesap, McIntosh, Yellow Delicious, Mutsu, Honey Crisp, and Pink Lady.  You can use any mixture of sweet apples.  I used Gala and Fuji, which have an aromatic flavor.
