I am always experimenting with the bounty from my herb garden.

This is a very easy recipe for rosemary infused salt.   I fill a cheese shaker with this mix and keep it on the table.  This makes it easy to use and it's delicious on just about everything.  I occasionally use a "small" amount as a rub on meats.  It's also very good sprinkled on bread.

Miss Lady Bug's Herb Infused Salt

Ingredients:

Rosemary (dried)
Sea salt (course)

Directions:

Use one part rosemary to three parts sea salt.  Process rosemary in the food processor until finely chopped.   Add the salt and pulse until well blended.

Store in a pretty jar.  This also makes a nice gift.

Tip:  When smoking foods in a smoker, add a tray of sea salt on the top grid.  You will get a delicious, smoky flavored salt, which is even better when infused with herbs.  Pictured is “applewood smoked sea salt infused with rosemary.”

Hey Jackie! I also have a huge rosemary plant and I am always trying to incorporate it into new recipes. Please take a look at a couple of my rosemary posts:
